Being for the first time in Beijing, China, I used my Large Format Linhof Master Technika Camera to photograph analogue portraits of the townspeople.

Following the principle of serendipities I developed a local social network in the Chinese Capital. These contacts allowed me to examine stories of people and objects, which I analyzed with the focus on daily poetry. 

In doing so I came across visions of an anti-elitist, optimistic lifestyle.
